{"id":151,"date":"2019-05-13T11:15:40","date_gmt":"2019-05-13T11:15:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.iabsolute.com\/?p=151"},"modified":"2019-05-13T11:15:40","modified_gmt":"2019-05-13T18:15:40","slug":"dns-server-and-search-in-ubuntu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.iabsolute.com\/?p=151","title":{"rendered":"DNS server and search in ubuntu"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I found out that you can change the nameservers that dnsmasq uses by adding the following lines to \/etc\/dnsmasq.conf:<br>\nserver=8.8.8.8<br>\nserver=8.8.4.4<br>\nI didn\u2019t have a \/etc\/dnsmasq.conf file though, since it\u2019s installed by the dnsmasq package, but Ubuntu only comes with dnsmasq-base.
