meeting or appointment in Outlook send wrong date/time

As detailed below, Microsoft will change the meeting to reflect the timezone of the originator not the participants.

You can stop this process by disabling the “sniffer” within Exchange. This is easily done by:

• Logging in to OWA (2010)
  
• Options > All Options
  
• Settings > Calendar
  
• Untick (disable)  Automatically place new meeting requests on my calendar, marked Tentative

Obviously comes with it’s pitfalls but appears to prevent the automatic time adjustment. 

This wasn’t an issue in 2010 (according to our PA\EA’s) seems to have surfaced with the switch to 365 \ 2013 \ 2016
